SELF is made available to institutions in return for a financial contribution to cover hosting, maintenance and session administration costs.
We want to adapt to your positioning needs. We currently offer 3 scenarios for using SELF. Rates reflect the current cost of SELF.
SCENARIO n°1: Less than 1,500 placements/year
Turnkey test on shared server (€2 excl. VAT / session);
You can have as many sessions as you need, for a total of less than 1500 runs per year (above which we recommend a dedicated server, scenario 2);
You will be on a server shared by several institutions;
We take care of managing the sessions according to your needs.
You have free access to download results, or we can send them to you on request.
You can also freely manage the scheduling, activation and deactivation of your sessions.
You can have as many sessions as you need, for a total of less than 1500 runs per year (above which we recommend a dedicated server, scenario 2);
You will be on a server shared by several institutions;

SCENARIO n°2 : More than 1,500 placements/year
Dedicated server (€1.8 ~ €2.5 excl. VAT / session);
You can have as many sessions as you need, and are no longer limited in the number of exams you can run;
Your institution has a dedicated server and you can more easily place large cohorts of students;
The server is hosted and maintained by UGA.
You have two options for managing sessions:
a) Turnkey test: we provide you with a shared table on which your teachers and managers can enter the positioning sessions they need (dates, session code, etc.); the UGA takes care of setting up and managing the sessions according to your needs and requests. (€2.5 excl. VAT / session)

→ You can also freely manage the scheduling, activation and deactivation of your sessions.
b) Decentralized session management: you have a manager who takes charge of managing your SELF server. You are then completely autonomous in the definition, management and granularity of your sessions (by language, course, site, period or other...), with the UGA only providing assistance when needed. (1.8€ HT / session).

SCENARIO n°3 : More than 1,500 placements/year and collaboration
Dedicated server + collaboration partnership (€1.2 excl. VAT / pass) ;
If you would like to collaborate on the design and improvement of SELF, we can set up a collaborative partnership. Your university will have a dedicated server based on scenario 2b, and will make available staff for research and/or development to develop SELF and the positioning system. Contributions may include expertise in testing and psychometrics, IT development, contribution to the design of a new version of a test or a new language, etc.
If you would like to collaborate on the design and improvement of SELF, we can set up a collaborative partnership.
